So, it’s been a while – I thought I might fill you in on all the happenings at the Guptill residence in the last while.
1) I did infact clean my entryway. It looked beautiful. For about 98 seconds – then AJ came home and ruined it; hence the no picture.
2) My “I woke up on the right side of the bed” goal has been going OK. My mom and I have been walking together, which makes it more enjoyable. I tackled the loop at Beulah this past weekend, and it really wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be
Yay me! And yay Mom for keeping up!
3) I graduated again! You may now address me as Shea Guptill, B.Sc, B.Ed.
4) AJ’s business is doing great this summer. He’s has a few commercials, lots of weddings, and other jobs to keep him busy enough to be self-employed this summer!
5) I’m on TV! I’m in AJ’s Excel Pest Control commercial. I’m the beautiful lady bug.
6) My niece is turning one soon – bah! Where does the time go?
7) My laptop finally died. My computer-genius father-in-law tells me it’s in the grave. Frig. I didn’t back anything up. Oops. I won’t make that mistake again.
I have been polishing up my piano skills. I like it and wish I had more time and a Bösendorfer grand to play on.
9) Remember the Jelly-Belly tree?
10) I finally got my house sprayed for ants – Woohoo! Frig they’re annoying!
Here’s my Picture of the Week, which should really be Picture of the Month – this is the very first picture of me and AJ from 04 when we first started dating <3

My beautiful niece Ava.
Spring has sprung! WOOHOO! Despite the fact that along with spring comes a RAGING RAMPAGE of allergies, so does spring cleaning. I heart spring cleaning. I love finally being able to open the windows and BREATHE (at least for a minute, before the little allergens make it up my nose, then I have to close the windows again and live in seclusion…). I LOVE having a clean house. It pleases my heart. But let’s be serious here, I always have great aspirations about spring cleaning. I always make a list every year of the things I want to accomplish. Truthfully, I’m lucky if I get 2 of those things completed. But, this year, since I woke up on the right side of the bed, I am going at it with great ambition. So I started today. I started by digging all the crap out of Hatti’s closet (Hatti is our resident ghost who lives in the guest room). As I did this I found wonderous things. Craptacular things. Things that were in my way. Things that needed to be out of my way before I pull all my hair out and SCREAM! So, I sold them. I sold them all on Kijiji. Within minutes. And it made my heart glad. I hate clutter. And people buy my clutter. I love people. It felt wonderous. And now, I will find more things to sell, so that someday I can buy more crap. Thank you spring. Thank you.
